Ability PhotoPaint is a bitmap graphic editing tool for computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system, which is part of the Ability Office suite. This photo- and image-editing package is similar to Adobe Photoshop. It provides multiple layers and wide range of editable brushes and gradients, supports 25 image formats, and offers over 90 filters and artistic effects. Concerning the vector drawing, its resources are limited to simple operations, which allow to make ordinary vector drawings (emblems, small schemes, etc.) for further using with text documents and presentations. Ability PhotoPaint includes full Photoshop file compatibility and better support for cameras and scanners. It supports layers, filters, brush editor, magic wand selections, pattern editor. Open and edit GIF, PDS, JPEG, and many more formats. Save as PDF option. Nearly 100 Filters, sorted into categories such as Titles, Artistic and Distort, enable you to experiment with a range of special color, density and shape effects. A variety of Brushes and Paint tools can be used to apply color using modes, shapes and densities chosen by you. There are tools for tone correction. Using it you can brighten dark and darken very light pictures. In spite of its small size, Ability PhotoPaint is quite powerful. It can work with several layers. Layers enable you to divide an image into several separate sections, and you can be sure that work on one layer will not affect the image on another layer. The program works quickly.
